ABOUT THE MODULES
The course is structured around the four stages of the creative process—Inspiration, Exploration, Realization, and Reflection—so that you can build not only your painting skills but also your creative confidence step by step.
Module 1: Begin here
Before diving into the stages, you’ll start with a special introductory module. Here you’ll get some theoretical background to understand the flow of the creative process, and you’ll take a fun personality quiz designed to help you discover your creative strengths and potential. It’s a playful way to set the foundation for your journey and see where your natural energy lies.
Module 2: Inspiration
This module is all about sparking ideas and finding your own sources of creative energy. You’ll learn to look at the world (and your inner world) with fresh eyes, using prompts and exercises to collect imagery, textures, and colors that excite you. Inspiration is where curiosity leads the way.
Module 3: Exploration
Here we move from ideas into action. You’ll experiment with acrylic inks and other materials, exploring techniques without worrying about the outcome. This is the space to play, explore, and discover what resonates with you most.
Module 4: Realization
In this stage, you’ll start shaping your explorations into finished pieces. You’ll learn how to apply design principles like balance, movement, repetition, and white space to create compositions that feel intentional and expressive. It’s where your vision starts to take form on the paper or canvas.
Module 5: Reflection
Finally, you’ll take a step back to look at your work with fresh eyes. Reflection is about noticing patterns in your process, celebrating what you’ve created, and learning from the experience. This stage gives you the insights you need to grow and carry your creativity forward.
Module 6: Extras
In addition to the main modules, you’ll also find a practical Extras section. Here you can dive into hands-on tutorials on topics like stretching and priming a canvas, or even building floating frames to present your artwork in a professional way.
